Den Oever is proberbly the most interesting Nautical Center in the Netherlands.
It's, as only harbour in the Netherlands situated on both the IJsselmeer
and the Waddensea and also the Northsea is very nearby. This makes Den
Oever a unique location...!
The surrounding is also very interesting for people who adore nature and peacefull villages, while we are near a nice forrest and on directly at the old (former) Island of Wieringen. The place where the viking landed at first in Holland, some time ago... A sailor can't wish a better location than Den Oever. Because the most often wind direction is South-West, this harbour is an ideal point to leave from, sheltered behind the historical coast of the North of Holland. WARNING: You might get adicted to this place!

facilitys in our harbour are basic, but they will forfill all your needs, you will soon feel at home in the Waddenhaven.
The choice between salt water at the Waddensea and fresh water at the IJsselmeer(behind
our harbour) is unique. Therefore this harbour is great for both people
who has just start with sailing and people who are great expert. Many voyages
around the world use to start from Den Oever, and still do. This is the
place where real sailors meet. Anyhow we will make you feel at home anytime..,,,,,,,,,,,,,.you

From the Highway A-7 (Between Amsterdam and Den Oever) you take
exit number 14 (Den Oever) Turn left and turn right again after
aprox. 50 meters. Please follow the signs "Haven" when you have
entered Den Oever. You will arrive at the old Fisherharbour now where
you will find our office in the building called "Visafslag" The "Waddenhaven" is on our doorstep. Enjoy your stay !
